A famous cat from the 70s was finicky morris who like another 70s Icon Mikey hated everything. Morris hated anything put in front of him steak, dead mice, tuna, catnip you name it he hated it. Everything except for 9Lives gourmet catfood.This pretentious little snobby tabby was voiced by John Erwin who did voice over work in the cartoon He Man and the Masters of the Universe.
Morris was in the Movie Shamus with Burt Reynolds and Diane Cannon in 1973.
He has also done spokesman work for responsible pet ownership and three books are claimed to be written by him.

Several cats have played him. They were rescued from shelters and trained byBob Martwick.
